(aka Requiescant)
The sole survivor of the massacre of his family and most of the townfolk, a boy is taken in by a preacher, his wife and daughter. When the daughter runs off, the boy, now a young man (played by Lou Castel), goes to search for her.
This quirky spaghetti western is the work of film critic Carlo Lizzani, who also directed THE HILLS RUN RED. Italian film director Pier Paolo Pasolini also has a featured role of a whimsical sadist. Mark Damon plays a mysoginistic villain. Lou Castel portrays a comic innocent with a stigmata that hints at his destiny.
In an exclusive interview with Lou Castel in the DVD's bonus section, Lou reveals much about his attitudes then and now towards the genre, and his motivation for the unusual choices he made.
